Award reflects company’s consistently high level of customer service
The Travel Agent, Inc. has earned the service industry’s coveted Angie’s List Super Service Award, reflecting an exemplary year of service provided to members of the local services marketplace and consumer review site in 2014.
Owner & President, Mark Moorhead: “The 35 years since my parents founded the Travel Agent have seen enormous changes in the industry. We are no longer the gatekeepers of every weekend trip to grandma’s. What we are now is so much more. We don’t just get you on the plane, we compose your adventure.
What we offer are experiences you literally cannot find anywhere else; experiences most people don’t even realize are possible. You want a behind the scenes tour of the Sistine Chapel or the Louvre without the lines? We can do that. Private villas, Antarctic cruise expeditions, African safaris… You name it; we have advisors who specialize in it. Some clients only want to dine in five star restaurants; others want to spend the day with a local guide who will show them all his favorite hangouts and then welcome them to dinner with his family in his home.
It’s all about personalization, really; customized travel. The key is to find the advisor and relationship that works. Once that’s found, our customers generally don’t leave us.
Our Advisors can customize your itinerary to fit any budget, large or small. We have contacts around the world to get you VIP amenities and upgrades. Client representation is especially important when dealing with delays, connections, or travel nightmares like losing a passport. Using a trusted travel advisor means you will be represented at your destination, as well as having someone to call for additional needs. There’s nothing worse than going through the cost and difficulty of travel, only to have it ruined by some unforeseen circumstance or realizing the picture on the website is nowhere near the reality of your destination. This is time you won’t get back with your loved ones. Make it matter.”
“Only about 5 percent of the Travel Agencies in the Indianapolis area have performed so consistently well enough to earn our Super Service Award,” said Angie’s List Founder Angie Hicks. “It’s a really high standard.”
Angie’s List Super Service Award 2014 winners have met strict eligibility requirements, which include an “A” rating in overall grade, recent grade, and review period grade; the company must be in good standing with Angie’s List, pass a background check and abide by Angie’s List operational guidelines.
